• Click the arrow on the checklist item to open the test. You'll see a full range FFT tool displayed.
• This test is designed to measure each speaker and overlay their plots using "Scratch Pad".
• The final test should show each speakers response overlaid on the others.
• The implementation of this test is to select each speaker starting with the Front Left, store the plot then use the control which says "Left" to repeat through all speakers.
• If you have individual channel EQ, now's the time to adjust the plots so they more perfectly align. Our goal is to have the same response from each speaker. It's Ok to adjust the gain setting of each speaker so they align.
• Absent individual EQ capability, you'll confirm that the speakers are similarly shaped and discover any anomalies.
• The optional Off-Axis nearfield test may be useful to determine if the speakers off axis response is causing the anomaly
• Touch the "screenshot" icon below "Report" to save the image. It will appear in your final report.
• When you're satisficed with the plot, touch the return arrow. Don't forget to mark the item complete and add any comments.
